About Us

What is PROCAIM?

The PROCAIM Network is a centralized data collection and information system that brings together a broad and heterogeneous population of patients, clinicians, and academic researchers. The purposes of this network are (1) to evaluate integrative medicine including pharmacologic, psychologic, and complementary and alternative interventions through patient-reported outcome assessments and (2) to provide a forum for the exchange of relevant clinical information and recent research findings. Our overall mission is to advance understanding and treatment of a variety of medical disorders with overlapping symptoms.

The development of PROCAIM is supported by a grant from the National Center for Complementary, Alternative and Integrative Medicine to the UCLA Center for Neurovisceral Sciences and Women's Health (CNS/WH).
